While the field of Ufology has had a (loosely followed) ethics code for years now, the paranormal research field has not. With local groups springing up all over the place in the wake of Ghost Hunters, it is imperative that we establish a set of guidelines for client-investigator interaction and use of collected data if we want the field to gain respect in the established scientific community. |

Ohio has long been known for many moments in American History. Now it's about time Ohio step headlong into the paranormal convention circuit. Southern Ohio Paranormal Research along with Central Ohioians Researching Unexplained Paranormal Things, Central Ohio Paranormal Society will be working to bring you one of the most diverse guest list in the paranormal.
Without focusing on what we have termed 'Paratainment' too much we will be looking for guests throughout Ohio and nationwide to bring you a very informative event. We will work hard to attract appropriate vendors and sponsors for the event. Please feel free to contact us at anytime should you have any questions or are interested in being a guest, sponsor or vendor at the event.
Like nothing you have attended before
We are looking to make this event as unique as possible. There will be general sessions in which our guests of honor will be able to present their thoughts, experiences and opinions on the paranormal as well as small breakout sessions where you will be able to talk with others concerning a wide range of topics concerning the paranormal. We are very excited about the prospect of this convention and hope this will become an annual tradition for anyone interested in the paranormal.
